Holbox Bioluminescence Night Tour by Golf Cart

Bioluminescence in Holbox is a natural phenomenon that occurs on the southern beaches of the island (Punta Cocos) and can be observed at night when there is complete darkness. On this land tour, we will travel in one of our all-terrain vehicles (golf cart) through the most rugged paths surrounded by mangroves, heading to the end of the island at Punta Cocos, the most pristine beach in Holbox. Once there, we will be able to walk along the lagoon, touch the water, and our guide will teach and explain everything about the stars and the bioluminescent plankton.

Important note: the bioluminescence phenomenon's visibility depends on the lunar phase — it is a natural occurrence and its intensity varies from night to night. This means it will not always look exactly as shown in the photos. We recommend asking our customer service team when the bioluminescence can be seen most clearly, and to confirm availability before booking.
